Sarah and Jason met through mutual friends in 2005. They dated for a few years, but life got in the way when Sarah moved to Boston for law school. Their relationship was rekindled in December 2012, when Sarah invited Jason to her birthday celebrations, and they knew the timing was finally right. The rest, as they say, is history...
The couple got engaged at Richardson's Lake in Maine. Jason surprised Sarah with a custom designed engagement ring, and she said ‘YES!”.
Surrounded by family and friends, Sarah and Jason exchanged their vows at St. Rita Church in Hamden; the church Sarah’s family attended during her childhood.
The ballroom at The New Haven Lawn Club was absolutely gorgeous. The tables sparkled from the soft candlelight, and the room was warm and cozy with the fireplace blazing. It was the perfect setting for their celebration. The venue was extra special for Sarah, since her parents had also held their wedding reception there almost 40 years ago.
