Laurie, Santo, and their wedding party got ready at Homewood Suites by Hilton in downtown South Glastonbury. After everyone was ready, we all went to Saint Clements Castle where the rest of the festivities took place.
We kicked things off with a first look down at the Marina which is right on the Connecticut River. Because the ceremony wasn’t until the evening, we had all afternoon to walk the exquisite grounds for photos with the wedding party, their families, and just the two of them. During the photos, a double-rainbow appeared which Laurie said was Santo’s parents way of being there with them for their special day.
Soon it was time for the evening ceremony under the stars. The lanterns and twinkling lights in the arbor created an ambient and intimate feel. Following the ceremony, everyone enjoyed cocktail hour with the gorgeous views of the Connecticut River. The happy couple entered the reception to smiles and cheers and there were many happy tears during their first dance.
Laurie really wanted to capture outdoor night time photos at the venue, so before the reception ended, we snuck outside with her and Santo. We think the shots look very romantic!
Congrats Laurie and Santo; thank you for having us!
