Julie and Roman wanted to create a memorable experience not only for themselves but also for their guests, so they chose to have a New Year’s Eve wedding! Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Tarrytown House Estate on the Hudson. The estate overlooks the river with multiple mansions with ballrooms and accommodations for guests. The property dates back to the early 1800’s and the beautiful buildings show the rich history and exude elegance throughout.
Both bridal parties got ready on site in their respective rooms and then Julie had a first look with her dad followed by a first look with Roman outside on the terrace. There were lots of tears, mostly from the groom! Because it wasnt that cold outside, we walked the grounds to do couple photos before the ceremony.
The indoor ceremony was held indoors and it was clear the room was filled so much warmth and happiness for the couple. Julie had a radiant smile as she walked down the aisle and Roman shed more happy tears as she made her way to him. To make the ceremony even more special, the bride’s brother was their officiant!
The reception was a night to remember complete with exquisite dining, live music, and a dance floor that had guests celebrating all night long. The energy in the room soared as the countdown to midnight approached. The couple had thoughtfully incorporated elements of New Year's Eve into their wedding. As the clock struck midnight, guests raised their glasses in a toast to the newlyweds, while balloons dropped from the ceiling! It truly was an epic wedding! Congrats Julie & Roman!
