Sara and Joseph had a summer wedding at StoneHurst in Hampton, CT. StoneHurst is rustic, yet modern and elegant at the same time, which is exactly the feel Sara and Joseph were going for.

Both the bride and the groom and their respective wedding parties got ready in The Mansion on the grounds which offers a large bridal suite and a groom getting ready space.

Sara and Joseph chose to do a first look, but because it was raining, we did it inside. We did get to go outside afterward and get some beautiful wedding party shots and intimate photos with just the bride and groom. The grounds here are exquisite and are the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. One thing that I have started to notice, is that more and more couples are opting for forgo a first look.

The indoor ceremony fit right in with the rustic modern vibe and we loved how open and airy the space felt due to all the natural light.

Towards the end of the reception, we snuck outside to get some romantic night shots of Sara and Joseph. It was a great way to end the evening and capture their happiness. Congrats to the happy couple!
