Kim and Jason met at a New Year's Eve party in 2012. As they got to know one another, they found they both had a love of sports, especially golf.

Jason asked Kim’s parents for their blessing in December 2020 and he proposed in September 2021. After playing a round of golf, Jason got down on one knee on the 18th green at the Lake of Isles golf course. The ring is Kim’s great grandmother's and her dad found out that it was last worn 100 years ago in 1922!

Kim and Jason wanted a September wedding and chose The Lake House for its beautiful views and landscaping. Lavender was chosen for the bridesmaid dresses and flowers because it’s Kim’s favorite color. The couple also enjoys wine and included wine themed centerpieces for the reception tables and a sports themed cake topper reflecting their love of golf!
