Khrystyna and Adam met during a night out. Khrystyna walked up to the bar and asked Adam if she could scoot in to order a drink. That simple question turned into an hour long hand slap game. The next day they went to watch football and the rest is history!
Adam proposed while at a Denver Broncos game. Khrystyna thought they were there to celebrate the birthday of another friend. In the middle of the second quarter, Adam tapped her on the shoulder and got down on one knee. Everyone else there knew and videotaped the whole thing! The diamond is Adam’s grandmothers that was passed down to him and he created the engagement ring around the diamond.
Khrystyna and Adam’s ceremony and wedding were both at The Piermont in New York. Khrystyna always wanted a venue on the water and loved the setting and backdrop. While it was sunny, we were able to get many shots of the happy couple and the wedding party on the pier. But then right before the ceremony, it started to rain and the location was quickly switched indoors. It was still beautifully setup and the ceremony was romantic! Later, the rain thinned and we headed back outside for more photos. We especially love the night shots we captured with the fireworks!
They really wanted to make sure that both Jewish traditions and Ukrainian traditions were incorporated to reflect them and their families. The signing of the ketubah was a very special and private moment. Their first dance started out slow and transitioned into Jewish dancing and then Ukrainian dancing. That was a lot of fun to watch and capture.
The ceremony and reception details were also very important to them. Khrystyna created the music playlist to make sure guests had fun and didn’t leave the dance floor! Another really unique element was the couple’s cake topper which showed their love of wine tasting and their puppies!
We hope your wedding was everything you dreamed of. Thank you for letting us share in your special day!
