Jessica and Curtis knew each other for years before they started dating. They were friends first and eventually, fell in love! They were together for 6 years before getting engaged.
Curtis proposed in Costa Rica, on a sunset catamaran ride on April 18th, 2018. It was a few minutes before the sunset, and when Jessica looked over, Curtis was down on his knee, telling Jessica how much he loved and asking her to marry him. She said yes and they enjoyed the rest of their vacation as a newly engaged couple!
Jessica and Curtis knew exactly what they wanted for their wedding: a rustic, chic, and romantic venue. The Barns at Wesleyan Hills was the perfect spot with white long drapes and hanging lights. The white, blush, and gold color scheme was the perfect complement to the venue and was woven throughout their day. Ashleigh’s Garden created all of the flower decors. The reception tables had tall vases with white and blush flowers and hanging greenery along with cascading flower arrangements on top of wine barrels and their seating chart.
The happy couple describes themselves as “foodies” and so making sure that everyone had enjoyed their meals was extremely important to them. All of the food at The Barns was “farm to table” and dessert included warm apple cider donuts for guests.
We enjoyed capturing their love and laughter and hope their wedding was all they dreamed it would be!
