Jenna and Josh met years ago at a friend’s high school party. They exchanged numbers and stayed friends for the years to come. It wasn’t until after college and many sushi dinners together that they thought, “maybe we should try the whole couple thing.” It was effortless; they felt like best friends and their families also felt an immediate connection to the other.

Josh was planning to propose on a Christmas cruise to the Caribbean. However, he realized he wanted Jenna’s family to be a part of the engagement, so he changed plans. On November 25th, 2016, right before sitting down for their second Thanksgiving meal, Josh got down on one knee in front of everyone!!

Jenna spotted the Marchesa Daffodil gown while shopping with her mother at Gabriella Bridal In Soho, NYC. As soon as she put it on, she knew she needed to get married to Josh in this dress. Jenna appreciated the intricate lace detail, the delicate applique, and the trending removal cape. It was undoubtedly perfect!

Jenna was also determined to find a shoe that was classic and comfortable. She wanted to get a pair that she could wear again and again as a sweet reminder of my special day. The Dior J'adior White Patent Slingbacks were everything that she wanted; they were so fashionable and classy and most importantly, comfortable!

Jenna and Josh love to travel, and wanted their venue to be by the water, so they chose Newport, R.I., as their “destination wedding.” When they saw Belle Mer - everything was white, clean, simplistic and it took their breaths away!

Jenna chose bright whites paired with soft browns and vibrant greens as the color palette. They had a “brunch wedding” to honor their many cool, calm mornings shared together by the sea. The day had a romantic, elegant, and timeless feel that was filled with lots of love and laughter!
