Nicole and Brian both attended Villanova University but it wasn’t until 7 years after graduation that they met at a mutual friend’s wedding. A few months later, they went on their first date and the rest of the year was filled with Nicole testing out cookie recipes on Brian, Brian teaching Nicole to golf and many trips to visit family and friends.
On their one year anniversary, Brian asked Nicole if she wanted to make brownies to celebrate. Always up for baking, Nicole agreed and starting making brownies from scratch in a saucepan on the stove top. Brian was very confused that she wasn't using her Kitchen Aid stand mixer where he had hidden the ring. Eventually Brian got Nicole to finish baking and go near the mixer where she discovered the ring and he asked her to marry him. She, of course, said yes!
Lake of Isles was the perfect venue for this golf loving couple. Guests joined them from all over the country to celebrate their love.
The couple chose rose pink and dusty blue for their colors, a combination they both liked and felt worked well for a New England summer. For the reception, a golf theme was incorporated to represent their favorite hobby. Nicole’s grandmother even gave her her grandfather’s golf clubs to place next to his picture at the memory table!
Thanks so much for choosing us to share in your special day and we hope you love these photos as much as we do!
