Maya is one of the sweetest people we've worked with. Not only is she photogenic but she's also super talented. From the very beginning Maya knew she wanted to incorporate dancing in her point shoes, and we're so glad she did. She's been dancing since her toddler days and it's a big part of who she is. We love capturing people in their natural environments. It makes for heartfelt photography, don't you agree? 

We styled Maya's wardrobe to coordinate with her colorful personality and Indian culture. The deep maroons and purples work perfect with her skin and this time of the year in New England. Autumn is in full effect with leaves magically changing to bright oranges and yellows, and gardens filled with different colored Dalias - making for the most perfect backdrops.
